Fishing & Relaxing

Many of us are trying to escape from the infernal trafic of city, the city's noises and the pollution, by making something.. I don't know... anything.. just to relax. For me the best activity to relax and rest in weekend or anytime i have enough time to spend it.. in fishing! Why? Because.. there are only the sounds of the lake, the best music for my ears, birds singing and stuffs like those. Fishing is a sport and a relaxing method and activity, better for our days! I can't find a better activity than this.. Hm... or a barbeque.. but fishing is more interesting! I'v got a lot of stuffs bought from Gipo (Gipo is one of the best company for fishing articles and equipment). From Gipo .. stuffs are expansive but.. the quality is very very good than other fishing articles and equipment companies.

My favorite place for fishing is on a supply channel from Lacul Morii (Bucharest - Romania) where i go almost every weekend with my cousin for fishing. Lacul Morii is one of the biggest artificial lake in Bucharest. It has a surface of 2.46 km² and a volume of 14,7 millions cm³.The pollution and the garbage which people are throwing in lake. The water is very very muddy. For building this antropic lake, was needed to destroy a church and a graveyard. It says that the graveyard is still somewhere down there under the concrete sides of the lake. Many people drown there.. crimes.. and many other horrible things.

But Lacul Morii (Windmill Lake) is still a very nice place to fishing and relaxing. The sunset is very very beautifull because of the reflection of the giant red ball of fire, very interesting for photoshots.

The main road to the supply channel is on a country road.. it is a very bad if you don't have a jeep or something because of bad whether.. you can get stucked there in mud.

There are not many species of fish in Windmill Lake because of the pollution. Some time ago (10 years-20 years) the Goldfish,Perch,Catfish,Queens.. and other species were lived in very good prosperity.

On supply channel you can find is the Redfish(Rosioara), Goldfish(Caras) but sometimes very very hard to catch one with a worm.
The perch is very very aggresive. In general the fishing for perch is sometimes very unmercy. The best bait to catch a perch is using another fish to catch it(a small fish - a baby Goldfish) or something the maggots are very usefull, placing 5-6 maggots in the niddle and then launch it in the water.

A best tehnique for throw bait in water is to use a baiting boat(Is more expansive to buy one than to build one). I will post later pictures with the supply channel and Windmill Lake(Lacul Morii). Take care and On A Roll!
